How we verify specifications

A specification is presented as fact only when it can be tied to the correct model and reference, supported by an appropriate source, and recorded as verified.

Identifying the watch

We begin with the brand, collection, and complete reference. A different diameter, material, caliber, or market can identify another variant even when the commercial name looks the same.

When a reference cannot be confirmed, the information is not promoted as a verified specification.

Source hierarchy and comparison

We prioritize official brand pages and documents. Press releases and specialist sources provide context but do not replace an available primary source.

Data is compared with the Cronari catalog. When reliable sources disagree, we record the discrepancy and explain which value was used and why.

Updates and corrections

The editorial modification date changes for a material content edit, factual correction, or data refresh. Typographic and administrative changes do not simulate an editorial update.

Confirmed errors are corrected, and material changes remain visible in the article’s public correction history.
